ERAN NON-STATE ACTORS DALAM UPAYA MENGHENTIKAN PERDAGANGAN ORGAN TUBUH TERPIDANA MATI DI CINA
Abstract
Human organs are illegal as international commodity, but China has sold it since
1990s until 2006 and made it famous as a place of abundant source of organs. The
majority of these organs came from Executed prisoners. This paper aims to know the
role of non-state actors to stop organ trade of executed prisoners in china that used
for business advantage by using descriptive method. Study results indicate that the
role of non state actors are very significant to stop organ trade. They did advocacy,
humanitarian campaigns, and pressure to the Chinese government to change their
policy. Although executed prisoners would die, but they have rights to be treated as
human.
