This Thesis arranged in order to determine fairly significant differences between Barrack Obama Administration and George Walker Bush Administration related to the Iranian Nuclear Programme. Barrack Obama Administration changes the total approach for Islamic countries. Obama Administration tended to be soft and prioritizing a diplomacy rather than confrontation against Iran. Meanwhile, George Walker Bush Administration always give a confrontation priority according to the Preempitive doctrine towards other countries, especially “the rogue state”. Difference is caused by the background of each party. Republic Party always assumed the war option is a great way, but Democrat party always prioritizing the diplomacy and avoid the war. Obama Administration made a decisive policy like step up diplomatic efforts and tightening economic sanctions toward Iran based on rational choice analysis until cost and benefit calculation.en_US
