Abstract

uberculosis is an infection diseases that became main problems on development countries, including Indonesia. Because of some harmfull effects caused by tuberculosis, it is important to take some prevention effort to avoid tuberculosis to be worsed. One of the prevention program was giving communication, information, and education about tuberculosis disease. Communication, information, and education about tuberculosis disease prevention effort is needed to be given to increa se public knowledge about the importance of tuberculosis disease prevention effort to prevent tuberculosis disease. It could be the most important thing to construct public behavior, especially on tuberculosis disease prevention effort. The study aims to analilyze the effect of communication, information, and education on public’s knowledge levels about tuberculosis disease prevention effort at Gumukbanji Orchard, Kencong Village in Jember Regency. Method used quasy experiment research with non-equivalent control group design approach. Data analysis used Mann Whitney U Test. The result showed that P-value was 0,001
