HUBUNGAN IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM 10 LANGKAH MENUJU KEBERHASILAN MENYUSUI (LMKM) DENGAN PRAKTIK RAMAH MENYUSUI PADA IBU POSTPARTUM DI RSIA SRIKANDI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
nfants breastfed exclusively has not reached the target due to lack of support and
performance health workers to help mothers understand the importance of
breastfeeding. The 10 Steps Program to successful breastfeeding is a program
created by government as a reference for health care facilities to support
successful breastfeeding. The purpose of this research was to analyze the
relationship of 10 Steps to successful breastfeeding with breastfeeding-friendly
practices on postpartum mothers in RSIA Srikandi Sub-District Jember Regency.
The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Sample was 13 health workers
and 53 postpartum mothers. Mean of 10 Steps to successful breastfeeding was
17,92 (The optimum score is 26). Mean of breastfeeding-friendly practices was
13,23 (The optimum score is 18). The data analyzed by pearson correlation test.
The result showed that there was a moderate positive and linear patterned
correlation between the implementation of The 10 Steps Program to successful
breastfeeding with breastfeeding-friendly practices on postpartum mothers in
RSIA Srikandi Sub-District Jember Regency (p value = 0,045 < α = 0,05;
r = 0,563; r = +1). The research suggestion is to increase the application of each
step in 10 Steps Programs to Successful Breastfeeding to improve breastfeedingfriendly
practices
