dc.description.abstractDiabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with a characteristic of hyperglycemia happens due to secretion abnormalities and insulin resistance and cause many complications, including diabetic wounds. Proper wound care is one of the factors that support the healing of wounds and also the treatment of wounds one of which is the use of honey and sofratulle. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of wound care using honey and sofratulle for diabetic wound healing process of diabetes mellitus patients in public health center Rambipuji work area Jember. The research design was pre-experimental with one group pretestposttest that implemented in 10 diabetes mellitus patients who have diabetic wounds. The data analyzed that independent t-test with α = 0,01. The result of this research obtained that the average of difference rating score of wound before and after wound care with honey is 20,2. The average of difference rating score of wound before and after wound care with sofratulle is 6,6. P value = 0,000 < α (α = 0,01) so it can concluded that there is a difference of effectiveness wound’s care using honey and sofratulle to diabetic wound healing process on diabetes mellitus patient in public health center Rambipuji work area Jember.en_US
