AN ANALYSIS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MAIN FEMALE CHARACTER'S PERSONALITY AND HER ATTITUDE TOWARD INFIDELITY IN ERICH SEGAL'S MAN WOMAN AND CHILD

Abstract

This research was intended to describe the development of main female character's personality and attitude in the novel Man Woman and Child. The research design was descriptive and the data were taken by analysing the document that was a novel entitled Alan Woman and Child. The research result showed that Sheila had a good personality as a wife, a mother and a career woman. The development of her personality after her husband's infidelity was changed to be better. The development of her attitude toward her husband's infidelity resulted in positive attitude.
