HUBUNGAN PERILAKU CARING PERAWAT DENGAN MANAJEMEN REGIMEN TERAPEUTIK PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS (TB) DI POLI TB RS PARU JEMBER

Abstract

Patient with tuberculosis disease needs 6 month to curing the sickness. This period of time causes problems such as medication failure. Active role of health workers is needed to raise awareness so that patients can get therapy succesfully. The purpose of this study was to determine the caring behavior with regimen therapeutic for tuberculosis in tuberculosis (TB) outpatient RS Paru Jember. The design of this study was cross sectional survey, with total sampling with 32 respondents. Data analyzed was chi-square with 95% CI (α=0,05), it was obtained p value = 0,015 and OR = 8,75. The conclusion there was a relationship between the nurse caring behaviors with management regimen therapeutic of patients tuberculosis (TB) in TB outpatient RS Paru Jember. Nurses with caring behavior have chance to make effective management regimen therapeutic for tuberculosis patients 8,75 times than nurses without caring behaviour. The suggestion for nurses are expected to apply caring behavioral in providing care so that patients can have effective management regimen therapeutic.
