KEBERADAAN GREJA KRISTEN JAWI WETAN (GKJW) SUMBERPAKEM KECAMATAN SUMBERJAMBE KABUPATEN JEMBER TAHUN 1976-1999
Abstract
Greja Kristen Jawi Wetan (GKJW)Sumberpakem is a church located in the village
of Sumberpakem subdistrict of Jember Regency Sumberjambe official standing
since the days of the colonial Government of the Netherlands to be exact on July
23, 1882. The background of the writing of this thesis is the uniquenessthat is
owned by the EAST Sumberpakem. The church stands in the middle of the life of
the community the actual famous madurese fanatic and tends towards an antipathy
to the new school as a Christian. But it is precisely the unique thing with such
condition, the EAST Sumberpakem can grow and develop as well as being one of
the colors of the life in the village of Sumberpakem.
The writing of this thesis aims to find out the whereabouts of Greja
Kristen Jawi Wetan (GKJW) Sumberpakem subdistrict of Jember Regency
Sumberjambe from 1976-1999, as well as explains variousimportant events that
occurred in the span of time. As for the problems that will be discussed in this
thesisare (1) how is the Church of the GKJW Sumberpakem before the enactment
of Alketab, (2) what factorscaused the newly created Alketab in 1976-1999, (3)
what is the impact of having organized and carried outAlketab in the
EAST Sumberpakem.
This thesis writing method of history. Data obtained in two ways, first
throgh direct interviews with competent resource person among them Pastor
Eliezer Kaeden and several residents of the GKJW Church Sumberpakem. Data
supporting the problem with interpretation using facts of history, and
then doappropriate writing problems that have been formulated and the goals will
be achieved, so this thesister
From research and interviews conducted with several people, Then
obtained the following retuls: (1) the State of the Church of the GKJW
Sumberpakem before publication of Alketab very little amount and a growing
number of congregations tend to be fixed and does not show a significant increase
every year. (2) factor that lead to new Alketab composed in the period 1976-1999
was constrained on the process of interpreting from the Netherlands into the
language of Madura who need a process that is quite complicated and time
consuming that not a moment. (3) the impact after Alketab compiled and
published in the GKJW Sumberpakem looks at the increasing number of churches
who attended religious events in the GKJW Sumberpakem. This is because the
Gospel being used in the religious language of Madura is the Gospel, the language
used by the majority of the churches of the GKJW Sumberpakem.
