dc.description.abstractThis research aimed to determine the implementation of quality control of wooden safety match products applied by PT. East Java Match Factory. The research used case study type with qualitative paradigm. The data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation. Data were analyzed using domain and taxonomic analyses. Quality control applied by PT. East Java Match Factory included the stages of input, production process and output. The control is made by quality control department based on the planning in Work Instruction (IK) of each stage. The control activities made were not optimal because it still made the product quality damaged. The results of monitoring and measurement still found defective products during the production process and after the product packaging. Defective products produced were in average above 5%, so this exceeded the company’s tolerable standarden_US
