INOVASI PRODUK BERBASIS KREATIVITAS KAOS KHAS BANYUWANGI
Abstract
This research aimed to describe creativity made in product innovation of exclusive t-shirts Banyuwangi
at "Osing Deles" Company in Banyuwangi. The type of this research is descriptive with qualitative
paradigm. The research used case study research design using snowball sampling in determining the
informants. Data were analyzed using domain analysis and taxonomic analysis. The results found that
innovation carried out by "Osing Deles" was emphasized on creativity made for "Osing Deles" T-shirts.
Creativity used by "Osing Deles" is related to culture, art, history, and potential of Banyuwangi city. The
owner of “Osing Deles” seeked for inspiration from Banyuwangi figures such as historians, artists, and
native culturalists of Banyuwangi City. The creativity is applied in the design of "Osing Deles" shirts in
the form of themes that lift up Banyuwangi. The themes raised have the contents of Banyuwangi City
itself, such as santet (witchcraft), petik laut (sea picking ritual), 1771 (birth year of Banyuwangi), tour de
ijen, and others. These themes aim to attract consumers, either consumers of Banyuwangi visitors or
Banyuwangi community city itself.
