dc.description.abstract | This research aimed to describe the impacts of job training that has been implemented by
UPT-PK (Job Training Unit), Department of Manpower and Transmigration of
Bondowoso Regency in 2010. The training aims to empower the community; therefore, it
is important to evaluate, particularly the evaluation of the impacts gained by the
community after participating in the job training. The type of this research is descriptive
with qualitative approach. Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and
documentation. Informants were determined using purposive sampling. Data validation
techniques used persistence improvement in research and triangulation. Data were analyzed
using the interaction model of Miles and Hubberman. The results showed that the impacts
received by the community members who followed the training program are divided into 3:
first, those who still do the work in accordance with the training followed; second, those
who still do the job but rarely because they rely on capital, materials and orders; third,
those who have stopped doing the job in line with the job training followed due to the
absence of tools, capital, materials and order or, indeed, from the beginning they were not
committed to using the capability to increase their income | en_US |
