Post-harvest manufacture of peanut is required to improve product quality and the price of peanuts. One of the post-harvest peanut
processing is peeled peanut. Peanut epidermis peeler machine which ever made using a single roll system get the rendemen value 29.8
% and stripping peanuts resulted are still mixed with the waste, so it is need to be repaired and modificated by using a double roll
system to improve the rendemen and stripping peanuts quality resulted. Research carried out by designing and modifying peeler roll
with double roll system, adding waste separator and then test the modified peeler machine. The results showed that the peanut
epidermis peeler machine with double-roll system was supported with two iron roll which rotating in opposite direction at different
speeds with ratio of 1 : 1.38. Roll gap regulator could loosen or tighten a gap of 2 mm when the lever was fully rotated. Waste
separator had a tilt angle of 12o, it was done by utilizing the wind blowing from the electric fan. The peller machine had a rendemen
value of 63.93%, stripping capacity was 159.87%, stripping peanut products that obtained were: peeled intact of 16.64%, peeled
broken of 47.31%, unpeeled of 31.12%, waste of 2.21% and lost of 2.71%. The greater diameter of peanuts which be peeled would
increase the rendemen value, and the larger roll gap distance which was used to peel peanut would lower the rendemen value.
