| dc.description.abstract | Garbage is waste generated as a result of human activity and consumption. Garbage is
already a long problem that faced by cities in Indonesia, including the town of Jember. The amount of heap garbage in the town of Jember product 485.79 Meters3 every day. The amount of garbage in the city of Jember , as much as 15 % is plastic waste. The small business group of JOYO BESI TUA dan TEKAD JAYA is a small business group that focuses on the reservoir (collector) garbage in Jember. Kind of garbage which are collected is scrap metal , paper and plastic. From the types of garbage that can be improved resale value is plastic garbage. Plastic waste is valued higher if recycled. Be related with the properties of plastics that can be recycled, the plastic waste from collecting in the small business group can be recycled into a variety of new plastic products to increase revenue.The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge and revenue, as well as to improve the management of small business groups such junk collectors. This activity is done by making the tool to make a new plastic products, the tool is Plastic Injection Molding, and training activities as well as training management and bookkeeping operation and maintenance of the tool. The injection molding tool is expected to increase the sale value of the plastic waste from collectors. Targets and outcomes are expected in the science and technology activities for this society to create of a tool plastic injection molding, plastic injection molding tools which can produce new products with raw materials of plastic waste / plastic waste results from the processes in the plastic waste collectors, the small business group has been trained to operate and maintain the plastic injection molding, and a group of small businesses that have been trained on business management and bookkeeping. The method of this activity is done by the management and bookkeeping training, design and manufacture of plastic injection molding tools which is includes fieldwork observation, plastic injection molding tool design, fabrication and assembly, plastic injection molding tool testing, training, operation and maintenance of tools, monitoring and evaluation. Through this community service activities, the problems that faced by the partners can be resolved soon in order to increase revenue and partner knowledge. From this IbM's activities obtained good results is a plastic injection molding tools which can recycle garbage / plastic waste
into new plastic products, increasing ability to conduct business partners through trainings held, and increasing capacity and revenue activity partners with over plastic waste recycling technologies. | en_US |
