Analysis of Health Promotion Model Relationship "Behavior-Specific and Affect Cognitions" With The Vigilance Catastrophe Flash Flood for Primary SchoolAge Children in Panti Jember.
Abstract
Introduction : Natural disasters flash flood that occurred in 2014 Jember Orphanage Saints loss leaves both physical and psychologically. Children of primary school age is one of the group in society that have the potential to help raise awareness of natural disasters flash flood though the analysis of the Health Promotion Model "Behavior-Specific and Affect Cognitions". Method : Quantative research with crosssectional approach using a random sample of 220 primary school age children. Test used is the Chi Square test (α=0.05) . Result : Tge result showed there is relationship between the Health Promotion Model "Behavior-Specific and Affect Cognitions" with awarenees of natural disasters flood with p value 0.00. Health promotion model, which describes the action of Perceived benefits, Perceived barriers of action, Perceived self efficacy related activity affect, Interpersonal inflences, and Situational influences. Discussion : Health Promotion Model explain that the action will be done by the individual, if the individual has the experience and perception in understanding natural disasters flood alert. Experinces and perception of primary school age children are Perceived benefits of action,Perceived barriers of action, Perceived self efficacy related activity affect, Interpersonal inflences, and Situational influences. There for, to develop the ability to understand the behavior of natural disasters flood vigilance must continue to be done.
