PENANGGULANGAN KEMISKINAN MASYARAKAT SEKITAR KEBUN KOPI: PENDAMPINGAN PENGEMBANGAN MODAL SOSIAL DAN PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI KREATIF DI KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

The reality of poor people around the plantation and forestry also occurred in Jember, including the poor people around the coffee plantations are mostly owned by the corporation of plantation Limited. The poor people around the coffee plantations in Jember spread in Panti district, Mayang district, Jelbug district, Arjasa district, Silo district, and Sumber Baru district. The problem is whether "development of self capacity" through optimizing the utilization of social capital and participatory planning of creative economic's empowerment for the poor people around the coffee plantations to reduce poverty has been done or not. If it has done how is an poverty reduction product and whether the efforts that have been effective in reducing the poor people?. If it has not yet, what steps are being made to optimize the "development of self capacity" through the use of social capital and participatory planning of creative economic empower in outside of the plantation economy? This data analisys is important to obtain a drawing of society poverty's reducing in around coffee plantations. Through this data analisys is arrange action plan that has been prepared. In preparing the action plan and implementation of an action plan to reduce poverty of communities arround coffee plantations is used method of Participant Rural Appraisal (PRA). This method is a participatory planning's method that involves multi-stakeholder and used to facilitate in depth view of the people to self and its possibilities, and allow members to express ideas, their discoveries with their own way are varied, meaningful, and can be used and realistic.
