dc.description.abstractAim this research were (1) to analyze biochemical contents of Morus multicaulis leaves, young leaves and mature leaves; (2) to apply sericulture using Perhutani standard; (3) to find out effect kinds of seriframe to cocoons. The experiment was conducted at Malang, Indonesia. Young leaves (no.1 up to 3) and mature leaves (no.4 up to 8) samples were used for analyzing total protein, sucrose, vitamin C, chlorophyll content, pH and leaf moisture content. A total 120 larvae were reared on temperature 24-25°C and relative humidity 80-85%. Standard seriframe has rows with 3 cm in width, while modificated seriframe has 4 cm. Result showed that biochemical content of young mulberry leaves better than mature leaves. Sericulture using Perhutani East Java standard showed good cocoon and had a little mortality (3%). Cocooning using standard seriframe was better than modificated seriframe.en_US
