dc.description.abstract | Aims of research were (1) to know how teaching performance and English capability can be improved by cooperative learning, (2) to know how cooperative learning can be applied on bilingual microteaching. Classroom Action Research was applied in 3 cycles. The subject were 20 students of Biological Programe Faculty Teacher Training and Education Jember University. Cooperative Learning treated on integrated skill were STAD, Jig Saw, Think Pair Share, Number Head Together, Snow Ball Throwing. Each students apllied one model on cycle I, II, and III only. Teaching performance, English capability, and applied of cooperative learning were measured by Likert scale 1 – 5 and analyzed by percentage and t-test. The result showed that (1) 85% students had a good teaching performance in cycle I, and 100% in cycle II and III; (2) 45% students had a good English capability in cycle I, and 70% in cycle II and III; (3) 50% students had a good ability in cooperative learning applied, and 96% in cycle II and III. The conclusion, cooperative learning increased the teaching performance and English capability. | en_US |
