dc.description.abstract | Risk is all of possibility to appear a certain incident or case. The task of the fifth
stage of family development is tasks that must be done at family development
stage with child attain the age from 13 until 19 or 20 years old. This study used
survey analytic design with cross sectional design with a sample of 105
respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed using chi square
test. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The result implementation
of the task of the fifth stage of family development that is carried out amount 60
respondents (57,1%) meanwhile amount 45 respondents (42,9%) constitute
implementation of the task of the fifth stage of family development that isn’t
carried out. Respondent with smoking behavior low risk amount 69 respondents
(65,7%), respondent smoking behavior moderate risk amount 36 respondents
(34,3%), and no one respondents with smoking behavior high risk . Results of
statistical analysis showed that the p value is 0.000 and α = 0.05, which indicates
there is a correlation between the task of the fifth stage of family development
with smoking behavior risk at Sumbersari sub district Jember regency, odd ratio
on the research results obtained are 0,118. Risk of adolescent smoking behavior
can be minimized by optimizing the implementation of the fifth stage of family
development tasks. Community nurses expected to assist the family in an effort to
optimize the task of the fifth stage of family development. | en_US |
