dc.description.abstractin handling cases of TB. However, TB awareness programs face many constraints. One of them is the low level of knowledge of TB patients about TB health services. This research was intended to describe the knowledge levels of TB patients in the outpatient installation of Lung Hospital Jember about health services using DOTS strategy. This research is a descriptive study with crosssectional design. By consecutive sampling method, 21 samples were selected and data were collected by using questionnaires. Data were categorized as good, fair, and poor. The research results showed the majority values of each types of knowledge of TB patients: knowledge about the suspects surveillance was poor (48%) and good (33%), knowledge about diagnosis was good (52%), knowledge about disease classification and type of patients was fair (48%) and good (38%), knowledge about treatment was good (53%), knowledge about treatment result monitoring was fair (48%) and good (43%). In general,TB patients' knowledge level about health care using DOTS strategy was mostly cathegorized as good (52%). It is suggested that health care centers should promote TB treatment using DOTS strategy to patients.en_US
