dc.description.abstract | Health officers should have enough skills and knowledge about breastfedding
process to support the implementation of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD).
RSIA Srikandi has trained health officers for breastfeeding counseling in May 2013.
However, two from six health officers who have been trained could not have good
score. That meant, their knowledge about IMD and breastfeeding did not quite so
well. The objective of this study was describing a training system related to early
breastfeeding (IMD) in RSIA Srikandi Jember. This study used qualitative design.
Informants were selected purposively from RSIA Srikandi Jember’s officer. Data
collected by indepth interview with a guide interview and documentation. Result
showed that assessment step consisted of determined of necessities, aims, and criteria
evaluation. That disadvantage was in criteria evaluation, RSIA Srikandi only payed
attention for cognitive outcomes. Implementation step consisted of determined
training methods, arranged, and actuated. Based on implementation step there were
many difficulties,as how to arranged their schedule and gave their feed back of
training. The last, evaluation step consisted of reaction and learning evaluation.
That disadvantages was, those evaluation could not evaluate skill,competition and
commitment. Therefore RSIA Srikandi should pay attention for conformity of the
assessment, implementation, and evaluation of training. | en_US |
