GERAKAN PROTES MASYARAKAT SITUBONDO MASA AKHIR PEMERINTAHAN ABDURRAHMAN WAHID TAHUN 2001

Abstract

This article explain about the fighting between Abdurrahamn Wahid and provisional people’s consultative assembly andhouse of people’s representative make national political season become disorder in east java especially Situbondo. Concerned with the relief fund corruption issue from Sultan Brunai and Bulog donation in Abdurrahman Wahid government periode, Situbondo society did not consent to the issue. So, it can cause to be grown the complaining community as their disappointed to MPR/DPR. In the madurese society lie concept, the Islamic teacher is the part of citizen pride. Underestimating the Islamic teacher is the same as do it to them. That is the major causing of the complaining movement in Situbondo. Protest movement that pointing to physics hardness regularly affect to the life style they fight to. In other hand, Lansberger and Alexandrov tried to connect the protest movement to social changes. The protest movement is a consistency from the previous changes as the is in histories fair. the level where that action has the instrumental characteristic which made to gets the outside goal o it. The disturbance which occur in Situbondo cause the destroying to Muhammadiyah and Golkar building which represented Amien Rais and Akbar Tanjung even felled the tree at the Deandles street.
