PERBEDAAN PREDISPOSING, ENABLING, DAN REINFORCING FACTORS PERILAKU IBU DALAM MEMBERIKAN IMUNISASI CAMPAK ANTARA DESA NON KLB DAN KLB CAMPAK DI KECAMATAN CERMEE KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO
Abstract
Measles is the cause of death for children in the world which always increases every
year. Indonesia is one of 47 countries that becomes the biggest contributor of the
measles case. The number of measles case in East Java is also high. For instance, in
one of districts in Bondowoso, Cermee is the contributor for outbreak measles case in
2013. The purpose of this observation is to identify and analyze the difference of
predisposing, enabling, and reinforcing factors to mother’s behavior in giving
measles immunization in non-outbreak and outbreak measles village at Cermee
district. The observation sample is mothers in those villages who have children
among 9 until 11 months in 2013. This observation uses analytical observational
design with the comparing two populations approach. The result of observation
shows that there is different proportion of education variable with p-value of 0,025,
proportion of knowledge variable with p-value of 0,013, proportion of attitude
variable with p-value of 0,014, proportion of distance variable with p-value of 0,044,
and proportion of mother’s behavior variable in giving immunization in non-outbreak
and outbreak measles village at Cermee district with p-value of 0,046. The suggestion
of this observation is increase the health service through home visits, increase the
frequency of counseling about the importance of measles immunization, and improve
the action of measles immunization.
