HUBUNGAN SANITASI LINGKUNGAN, PERILAKU PENGENDALIAN JENTIK DAN NYAMUK, DAN KEPADATAN PENDUDUK DENGAN PENYAKIT DEMAM BERDARAH DENGUE (DBD) DI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
Dengue Haemorhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem in Indonesia which has the number of sufferers always be increase and spread more widely. East Java is one dengue endemic areas. Based on the mapping of dengue inseden per Province in 2012, East Java is included outbreaks area (KLB). One of the districts in East Java that dengue endemic is Jember. The number of dengue cases continued to increase from year 2008 to 2012. In 2010 an outbreak (KLB) with the number of case is 1.494 and the incident rate is 62 per 100.000 poppulation. Outbreak (KLB) is occurred again in 2013. This study aim to analyze the relationship between environmental sanitation, mosquito and larvae control behavior, and population density with dengue haemorhagic fever in Jember. The Method is observational research using a cross sectional design. Samples were taken of 100 respondents from 3 districts. There are Sumbersari, Kaliwates, and Wuluhan. Test analysis used in this study is the association of asymmetry lambda and association somers’d. The results of the study there was no significant relationship between environmental sanitation, mosquito and larva control behavior, and population density with DHF incidence (p > 0.05). It’s caused the researched factors is indirect factor and mostly the ilness transmission by respondent mobility. Need for increasing jumantik capacity by Jumatik Kit, give IEC (KIE) to the public about the development of DHF, and need the development of research methods and further research on public sanitation and sanitation based on area, not personal.
