| dc.description.abstract | Risk management concerns about culture, processes, and structures to manage risk
effectively and planned in a good management system. Risk management is an
integral part of the management process that runs in a company or institution. The
production processes of PT. Sasa Inti Gending have a high risk of the occurrence of
occupational diseases (PAK) as well as occupational accidents (KAK). This is
because in every production process, it uses some hazardous chemicals, one of which
is ammonia. Working with chemicals contain hazard either in the process, storage,
transport, distribution and the use. Similarly these activities may also disrupt the
society and the environment as a result of dumping and material leaks or accidents.
The purpose of this study is to assess the implementation of risk management
ammonia at PT. Sasa Inti Gending. This research is a descriptive study with a
qualitative approach. The results showed that the ammonia risk management carried
out by PT. Sasa Inti Gending is good because it is already according to the standard.
Based on these results, the company is expected to increase the frequency of coaching
and training to improve their knowledge and skills in implementing ammonia risk
management so as to reduce the risk of occupational diseases (PAK) as well as
occupational accidents (KAK). | en_US |
