ANALISIS FAKTOR RISIKO MUSCULOSKELETAL DISORDERS (MSDs) DENGAN METODE QUICK EXPOSURE CHECKLIST (QEC) PADA PEKERJA LAUNDRY

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders can be experienced by all workers who use physical labors and work with awkward and static posture such as laundry workers. This study use the method of Quick Exposure Checklist for assessing risk exposure of work-related musculoskeletal disorders quickly. The purpose of this study is to analyze musculoskeletal disorders risk factors at laundry. The research is a descriptive study using an observational approach. Based on this is, all respondents in each process are at level 3, which means it takes action in the near future, while the activity of sorting clothes who scored at level 4, which means it takes action now. The other hand, the assessment of work stress gets the value at mild stress levels. There were four respondents who experienced musculoskeletal disorders in the shoulder/arm, neck, back, wrist, knee and 2 respondents did not feel the complaint yet. With the results of these studies are expected to be done in the near future control measures such as providing facilities according to ergonomics, to relax a little as to do the work, overtime hours are rescheduled in accordance with the regulations.
