PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA SUBSEKTOR INDUSTRI KERAJINAN BATIK DAN KONTRIBUSINYA TERHADAP PDRB DI KABUPATENBANYUWANGI TAHUN 2008-2012

Abstract

The growth rate of labor absorption in the industrial sector in Banyuwangi batik during the last five years in 2008-2012 has increased the number of workers absorbed in the batik industry subsector in Banyuwangi pretty much. The rate of growth of industrial production value in the sub-sector in Banyuwangi batik for five years terakhit in 2008-2012 has increased significantly. Over the last five years ie from the year 2008-2012 employment elasticity in the batik industry subsector in Banyuwangi positive influence and is inelastic. This shows the ability of batik industry subsector in Banyuwangi in absorbing labor. Batik industry subsector does not contribute greatly to the Regency of Banyuwangi but each year showed a positive increase in both production value so there is hope for Banyuwangi regency government to increase investment in this subsector batik
