that grammar aspect was the most aspect that the students were still difficult in. The

article, the plural forms of nouns and the possessive form (‘s). Most of them had
problems in writing sentences using the simple past tense in correct structure.
In conclusion, most of the students did not know how to use their correct
grammar. It happened due to their lack of grammar skill and lack of writing practice.
In writing a recount text, they had to use the simple past tense, so that they must
understand the language features of a recount text. Unfortunately, they have not yet
understood about that. Consequently, they should be taught more about the use of
grammar, in this case were simple present tense. In other words, it can be said that the

yet satisfying.
