PENGARUH PELATIHAN PERAWATAN PERIANAL TERHADAP KEJADIAN RUAM POPOK PADA BAYI YANG MEMAKAI POPOK SEKALI PAKAI DI DESA SUCO KECAMATAN MUMBULSARI KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

Diaper rash was one of the problems which was possible to occur from the babies who wear disposable diapers. In Jember the incidence of diaper rash that each year there was an incidence of diaper rash that each year there was an increase. The purpose of this study was to compare the diaper rash scale before an after given perianal care training to mother. The design of this study was preexperimental research with one group pretest and posttest. This research uses 23 respondents as total sampling. The study was using observation sheet to collecting data. The results of this study was showed the incidence of diaper rash before and after training of perianal care, there were 12 incidence (52,2%) and after there were 4 incidence (17,4%). The analyzed used the Wilcoxon test with 95% CI (α : 0,05) got Z score -3.116, p valve 0,02 < α (0,05) as the result. The conclusion from this research that of perianal care training treatment has a significant effect to prevent the risk of diaper rash in the village district of Suco Mumbulsari Jember. The suggestions of this reseach were mothers with babies diaper rash treatment done 3 times a day and the regular replacement of disposable diapers every 4 hours.
