HUBUNGAN SUMBER INFORMASI DENGAN PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERISIKO REMAJA DI KECAMATAN SUMBERSARI KABUPATEN JEMBER
Abstract
Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults. Adolescent is
individual who experienced any changes include physiological, psychological,
cognitive and social changes. The changes experienced by adolescent such as the
growth of secondary sexual organs would lead to risky sexual behavior. Factors
that affect risk sexual behavior are hormonal changes, maturation the age of
marriage, religious norms, the development of science and technology,
promiscuity as a result of gender equality, and limited information from parents.
Adolescent would seek for information to fulfill needs of their sexual behavior.
Therefore, it is necessary to find out the appropriate sources of information so
that information could be accounted. This Research was to analyze the
relationship between sources of information with risk sexual behavior on
adolescents. The design of this study was descriptive analytic research with cross
sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this research was a
probability sampling with total sample of 110 respondents. Data was analyzed
with Spearman Rank. The result shown that P value was 0,042 (0,042 < α=0,05),
so can be concluded that there was correlation between sources of information
with risk sexual behavior on adolescents in District Sumbersari in Jember
Regency. Rank Spearman correlation value (r) in this research is r=-0,194, this
means the negative correlation with the strength of correlation is so weak. The
suggestion from this study is parents can give more attention to protect their child
from risk sexual behavior, and community nurses can give education about
relationship between resources of information with risk sexual behavior for
adolescents who have risk sexual behavior.
