PENGALAMAN KELUARGA DALAM PEMILIHAN PELAYANAN PERINATAL DI DESA KEDAWUNG KECAMATAN NGLEGOK KABUPATEN BLITAR
Abstract
One of the factors which influence the occurrence of maternal deaths is the
service factor which is strongly influenced by the ability and skills of care giver.
This phenomenology research is to obtain the family's experience in the selection
of perinatal services in the Village of Kedawung, District of Nglegok, Blitar
Regency. This research using descriptive phenomenological design with colaizzi
method. The Informants in this study consist of six families who have experience
in the selection of perinatal services. Family perceptions of perinatal care is
about the care giver and quality of service. The informant described how to get
the service and meet the expectations as a goal in the selection family perinatal
health services. The efforts of the informants in reaching out the service are
identified by visiting the service. Actions which families get were identified from
the actions by health care providers and traditional service providers. The factors
that were identified drive the family to chose health care providers is affection
factor, distance factor, facilities factor, conditions of the client factor, information
exposure factor, the factor of how the services, while the factors that were
identified drive the family to choose a traditional service is social interaction
factor and family disability factor. The factors that were identified as a barrier to
families in choosing a perinatal health services are the distance factor, facilities
factor, services factor, and psychological factor, whereas
the inhibitors in choosing a traditional service is the facilities of
traditional service providers.
