PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA INDUSTRI HASIL PERTANIAN DAN KEHUTANAN DI KABUPATEN BONDOWOSO TAHUN 2005-2011

Abstract

This research was intended to find out an elastic coefficient in each kind of industry; the product of agricultural industry and forestry in Bondowoso regency. The achieved goals for this research were to know the labour absorption in the product of agricultural industry and forestry, the development of job vacancy and the unit of the work, and the last were to find out the elasticity of the labour absorption. Descriptive method was used to achieve those goals. This thesis was the qualitative method by undergoing an analysis included the labour absorption in the type of the crafting industry. The descriptive analysis was employed as the analyzing technique. The stages of the research were: preparatory stage, collection of primary and secondary data, analysis and examination of the data and formation of the examination pattern through the qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the data taken on the site, it was concluded that The Labour absorption in the Product of agricultural industry and Forestry in Bondowoso Regency were as follows: (1) the rate of the high of labour absorption was good enough because the Product of agricultural industry and Forestry needed a huge of employer in its production. This kind of production really fitted for being grown in order to solve the problem of the increasing of population that was also increasing the number of employer; (2) the Product of agricultural industry and Forestry was the industry with the highest development of the unit of the work; (3) the coeficien of elasticity on the job vacancy, especially in the bamboo wickerwork was the highest one in Bondowoso regency. If the elasticity of job vacancy had the elastic coefisien well, it could be concluded that the industry was in labour intensive
