dc.description.abstract | NHT is a learning method with numbering system, and NHT is a combination
of reinforcement. The aims of this research is to know implementation of giving
reinforcement in Cooperatif Learning Type NHT to increasing result of mathematic
study and student’s activity to the students of class VII. Type of research is Classroom
Action Research (CAR) and the study design used was a model scheme Kemmis dan
Taggart study research design were consists of 4 phases include planning, action,
observation, and reflection . The object of this research is VII B students of SMP
Negeri 4 Jember and material was chosen operation of algebra. The method to collect
the data are observation, interview, documentation, and test. According the result of
research, the teacher activities in implementation of model cooperative learning type
NHT and activities in giving reinforcement is increasing from cycle 1 to cycle 2, so
with the student and group activity. Although the learning achievement at cycle 1
dodn’t reach the target with percentage 40,6 %, at the test cycle 2 it can reach the
target with percentage 75 %. The result shows that the completeness of student’s
activity and result learning has increased well. | en_US |
