STUDI PENGGUNAAN SITOSTATIKA PADA PASIEN KANKER SERVIKS YANG MENJALANI KEMOTERAPI DI RSUD dr. SOETOMO SURABAYA TAHUN 2012
Abstract
Cervical cancer remains the second malignant disease for women in the
world, and to be leading cause of cancer death for women in many developing
countries especially in Indonesia. HPV infection which spread has been identified
become the major cause of cervical cancer. Chemotherapy preffered over best
treatment for cervical cancer with spreading metastasis. This study was aimed to
analyze the usage of chemotherapy in cervical cancer at RSUD dr.Soetomo
Surabaya from period January to December 2012. The study was focused on profile
patient and drug usage pattern that found in patient received chemotherapy. The data
was collected using retrospective method from patient medication record, then
analyze descriptively. The result were campared with therapy criteria. The highest
prevalence of cervical cancer was patient in 40-49 (36,364%). The type of cervical
cancer was dominated by Squamous cell carcinoma 89 patient (80,909 %). The
modalities for cervical cancer depends on cancer stage which stage IIA had
chemotherapy neoadjuvant and had operation, stage IIB-IIIB had chemoradiation.
But modalities in stage IIB was differented, in this stage modalities used operation.
All patient get platinum based therapy with regimen of chemotherapy that used
Cisplatin (45,455 %), Paxus-Carboplatin (25,455 %), Paxus-Carboplatin-Cisplatin
(17,273 %). The dose giving each chemotherapy based on Body Surface Area (BSA)
and especially for Carboplatin used formula Calvert = AUC 5 (GFR+25).
