dc.description.abstract | Optimal health achievement in children can be identified through the assessment
done to task achievement of children development according to age. Lack of
optimal development will affect the child in achieving the task in the future. The
task achievement of under five children development can be affected by nutritional
status, physical environment, and the psychosocial environment. The purpose of
this research is to identify the factors associated with task achievement of under
five children development in the work area of Sukowono public health centers in
Jember regency. The research design used in here is analytic survey with case
control design. The population is all under five children recorded to experience
growth irregularities in Sukowono public health centers as many as 43 under five
children. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling with
total sampling respondent of 86 under five children; 43 under five children as the
case group and 43 under five children as the control group. The result of the
research using chi–quare test with an alpha of 5% it was obtained nutritional
status with value of p=0,025, OR value=3,150,
physical environment with value of
p=0,005, OR value=5,778, and the psychosocial environment
with value of p=0,038,
