PENGARUH PERENCANAAN PEMULANGAN (DISCHARGE PLANNING) TERHADAP KESIAPAN KELUARGA PASIEN MENGHADAPI PEMULANGAN PADA PASIEN STROKE DI RSD dr. SOEBANDI JEMBER
Abstract
Stroke is a disease that requires long-term care. This is due to the high level of
dependency in stroke patients caused by their disabilites. Therefore long-term
care is required to improve the life quality of patients, either after the patient is
discharged or transferred to other health facilities. The most instrumental people
in the implementation of long-term care are the family or the people closest to the
patient. They should be completely ready with everything they must do later when
the patient is discharged from the hospital. Giving discharge planning is the first
step to initiate the long-term care. The purpose of this research is to determine
whether there is an effect of discharge planning toward the patients family
readiness in facing repatriation on stroke patients in storke unit of RSD dr.
Soebandi Jember. This is a pre experimental research with one group pretest and
post test design. The population of this research is families of stroke patients who
visite the RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. The sampling method used in this research is
purposive sampling with total sample size of 21 respondents. This research is
conducted at the Stroke Unit of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. The analysis used in

equals with 0,001 (0.001 <0.05), then Ho is rejected. Thus there is an effect of
