    Abstract
The problem of HIV/AIDS is not merely a health problem of infectious disease, but has become a wide public health problem. A person living with HIV/AIDS obtains a pressure not only because of the influence of HIV intervention in his body, but also because of being exposed to the high stigma and discrimination against him in public. This condition increasingly makes ODHA close himself from the social life that may aggravate his condition and affect the quality of life. A patient who has been diagnosed HIV positive and knows it, his mental condition will experience a phase which is often abbreviated SABDA (Shock, Anger, Bargain, Depressed, Acceptance). This research was intended to analyze the quality of life of ODHA in terms of physical, social, and psychological aspects post-diagnosis of HIV positive. This research was a qualitative study using descriptive analysis, where the researcher tried to illustrate the quality of life of people living with HIV (the physical, social, and psychological aspects) after a positive HIV diagnosis on patients of VCT Clinic of RSD dr. Soebandi Jember. Based on the research results, it was shown that the quality of life of ODHA in terms of physical aspect was relatively low, that is, physical changes occurred due to chronic diarrhea and irregular eating patterns, so that the frequency of meals decreased, resulting in an impact on weight loss. Meanwhile, the quality of life viewed from the social aspect was fair because of the ability of ODHAs in engaging relationships with family, neighbors/friends, and the activities undertaken were still well-maintained, and the psychological aspects of quality of life was fair because the emotional condition after the positive HIV diagnosis, such as sadness, fright, confusion, and self-denial of their illnesses, could be overcome by a sense of fun, happiness, and peacefulness in the midst of the family.
