MANAJEMEN BENCANA PADA KEGIATAN PRA BENCANA (Studi kasus di Desa Kemiri Kecamatan Panti Kabupaten Jember)

Abstract

Predisaster is important for people of Kemiri's village to face the disaster which happened in several years ago. These ways used to make them ready anytime when the disaster comes.The research use kind of descriptive research with the qualitative approximation to give them the illustration and help them how to solve the problem. Knowledge of every people are different each other, because the level of education and become one of the factor in that tragedy. They do not have the mitigation and the best solution for tragedy. They have to use all the natural sources of the environment for solve this problem. The usage of early warning system combined with coordination with Kemiri’s people is become the best way in pre-disaster. The risk and dangerous from the environment of the village are also become the most influence of the disaster happened. The topography of the village such as 20% land and 80% mountain range, so that Kemiri’s village is risked for the flood and land slide. Besides of the natural sources, people of Kemiri’s village become the factor of the disaster. The education, knowledge, and also sensitivity of the people are the important things for them. There are still found people who life on the bank of the river, they life there long ago before the disaster came. Reforestation in the bank of the river is not fully maximized to do there. In order that, the improvement of the information to the people, the usage of early warning system, relocation of the unsaved place, and also have to know how big their interest and the natural sources in the environment to help people there in pre-disaster.
