dc.description.abstract | Over the last two decades is estimated the number of women workers are absorbed in
the industrial sector as workers increased about every year. Although the original
desire to encourage women to work is positive, but in the end there is a way out of
problems that arise as a result of women working, such as sexual harassment,
discrimination, health infraction reproductive rights are human female, a variety of
job-related disease, and accidents. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the
accident risk on women worker in the month of February to July 2010 in PTPN X
Unit Industri Bobbin Jelbuk Kabupaten Jember. This was an observational analytic
study. In addition, this research includes case-control study. The variables studied
were the human factors (host), which consisted of: age, education, work experience,
marital status, K3 knowledge, work (agent), which consists of: workplace, work
duration, and rest periods, and the work place environment ( environment), which
consists of: noise, vibration, and lighting. Data were collected using a questionnaire
technique and observation of the 102 respondents consisting of 34 respondents case
and 68 respondents control. Based on statistical analysis using multivariate analysis,
namely by examining the independent variables simultaneously using multiple logistic
regression with SPSS 11.5 with α = 0.05 factor K3 knowledge level and marital status
influence on occupational injury. While age, education, work experience, workplace,
work duration, rest periods, noise, vibration, and lighting has no effect on accidents. | en_US |
