The purpose of this research is to examine the results of the study physics student on the application of cooperative learning model type STAD based on audio visual multimedia multimedia-based audio visual with a class that does not use cooperative
learning model type STAD based of the audio visual multimedia, to describe the students
during the application of cooperation learning model based on cooperative type STAD
based of the audio visual, and to examine the motivation of students on the application of learning physics models of cooperative learning type STAD based audio visual multimedia with a class that does not use cooperative learning model type STAD based on audio visual multimedia. This type of research is a research experiment, experiments and research determined using the method of purposive sampling area. The research was carried out in Junior High School of 1 Srono. Research done after the respondents determined much of its homogeneity test. Sample determine with cluster random sampling. Design research using the control group pre-test post-test. Data collection techniques are observation, documentation, tests, and quesioner. Data analysis techniques to answer the first issue use a t-test that is using independent sample t test; the second issue use a sheet of observation activities students then determined the message of cooperation; and the third issueuse t test. Data retrieved the value significance of 0, 015<0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha are received. Data on an 85,25% belongs to the cooperation of students in both categories. Motivation outcomes studied physics 84,89% belongs to the category and value the significance of motivated, 0, 000<0.05 then H0 is rejected and the Ha are received.
