PERBANDINGAN WAKTU BAKU SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PELAKSANAAN HOUSEKEEPING DI RAWAT JALAN RSK MOJOWARNO JOMBANG

Abstract

Housekeeping is an activity in workplace in form of Sorting, Setting, Shining, Standarding, and Sustaining, which are required to perform the job properly. Housekeeping Application in workplace is the first step and the basic foundation for increased productivity. The objective of this research was to analyze the difference between standard time before and after housekeeping implementation on Hospital ambulatory service in a Christian hospital of Mojowarno Jombang Regency. This research was an experimental research design by quasi-experimental approach. The population in the research was all workers who worked in the Hospital ambulatory services in Christian Hospital of Mojowarno and sample size was 30 respondents. To identify the a difference between standard time before and after implementation of the housekeeping, paired T test was used that was supported by SPSS version 11.5. Statistical test results showed that there is a difference between standard time before and after implementation of the housekeeping standard time on Hospital ambulatory services in RSK Mojowarno (p = 0.02). Based on the research results, it was suggested that hospitals must perform housekeeping activities in each workspace, because it can increase effectiveness and quality of service
