dc.description.abstractBased on the results of the reading comprehension test and observation in Cycles 1 and 2, it could be said that the students had improved their reading comprehension achievement by using folktale. The result of reading comprehension test by using folktale in Cycle 1 showed that 61.53% of the students reached the standard score of ≥ 65. In other words, the action given to the students in Cycle 1 had not been successful. The success criteria of the research was at least 75% of the students reached score ≥ 65. Then the Cycle 2 was given to improve the students’ weaknesses in Cycle 1. The results of reading comprehension test by usingen_US
