dc.description.abstractThe study, entitled "Science Process Skills Improvement and Physics Student Learning Outcomes with Guided Inquiry Model Based Authentic Assessment in Class X D 2 MAN Jember Academic Year 2012/2013" aims enhancing students' science process skills and physics learning achievement. This study uses action research with design research Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, interview and test. Improve science process skills and student learning achievement improvement were analyzed with Gain normalized. The results showed that an increase in students' science process skills in a row on the pre cycle to cycle 1 and cycle to cycle pre 2 with the results of the acquisition value of 0.73 g. Student learning outcomes also increased successively in the pre-cycle to cycle 1 and cycle to cycle Pre 2 with the results of the acquisition value of 0.35 g and 0.36 g. This shows that the model of guided inquiry based authentic assessment can solve the existing problems in the learning process in the classroom X D MAN 2 Jember.en_US
