Instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction is teaching materials that contains an instructional game with purpose to attract student’s interest on material instruction that explained. The objective of this paper to know the validity of instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction in SMA that developed, describing student’s response, describing instructional effectiveness after the instruction using instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction. This paper is research development using 4-D model development. The method for getting are interview, documentation, logical validation, questionnaire, and test. The conclusion of this research shows that instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction in SMA is good with validity result logic 4.15. Student gives response 81.19% positive and 18.81% negative to instruction using instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction in SMA Negeri 1 Kencong. instructional effectiveness uses instructional game based teaching materials on physics instruction in SMA Negeri 1 Kencong has criteria effective because effectiveness degree (𝜂) 83,53%.
