HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL KELUARGA DENGAN PERILAKU IBU MENGIMUNISASIKAN CAMPAK PADA BAYI USIA 9 BULAN DI DESA KALIWATES KECAMATAN KALIWATES KABUPATEN JEMBER TAHUN 2011
Abstract
One of the important targets to reduce infant and under five mortality rate is to do
a complete basic immunization, one of which is by measles immunization given
to infants aged 9 months. One of the factors that influence health behaviors is
family social support. The family is an indispensable support system for family
members. Not all mothers at Kaliwates village get family social support and
immunizing of measles. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation
between family social support and mother’s behavior of measles immunizing in
infants age 9 months at Kaliwates village subdistrict Kaliwates Jember Regency.
This research use analysis survey method with cross sectional approach. The
sample were mothers with babies age 9 months in which 40 people Kaliwates
village. Sampling technique using total sampling. The study was conducted at
Kaliwates village using a questionnaire. Data analysis with Spearman Rank.
Results shows are from 22 respondents (55%) with good family social support,
there are 21 respondents (52.5%) who immunizing of measles and 1 respondent
(2.5%) is not do it. Statistical test result p value = 0.006, r = 0.427 there is a
correlation with moderate and positive direction between family social support
and mother’s behavior of measles immunizing in infants age 9 months at
Kaliwates village Jember Regency. So the greater the family social support
received by mothers the greater the mother’s behavior of measles immunizing.
