Abstract

Debt must be regulated to give maximum result. Good decision making in debt policy will affect the goodness also for company. This study aimed to analyze the effect of managerial ownerships, institutional ownerships, internal factors (consisted of profitability, company size, company growth, and dividend policy), and interest rate towards debt policy. The methode analysis of this research used multiple regression analysis. The population of this research is manufacturing companies listed in BEI. The sampling method in this research use purposive sampling. The results are 33 manufacturing companies, with period from 2005 until 2007.
