dc.description.abstract | Schizophrenia is a complex mental disorder,which is cause difficulties to the
schizophrenic patients. Its attack seven from ten tousand adult population.
Scizophrenia is often relapse and need long time therapy. Family role is very
important for schizophrenic patients, its provide place for learning social
interaction before returning to their society. Altough, the relatives from
schizophrenic patients do not know how to manage patient’s behaviour, that makes
them becomes more emotional, critical, even hostile. The aim of this research is to
know the relationship between Level of Expressed Emotion and Relapse in
Schizoprenic Patients in dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Mental Hospital of Lawang. I
designed this research used observational analitic correlation with cross sectional
approach. There are 50 samples, they are family of schizophrenic patients with
relapse and get medical care in dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Mental Hospital of
Lawang. Samples are taken by purposive sampling. The result of data analysis
using test correlation of Rank Spearman are obtained correlation coefficient for
about 0,160 probability (sign) for about 0,268 significant level is for about 95% (α =
0.05). The value of correlation coefficient is smaller than table valu. It showed that
there is no correlation between Level of Expressed Emotion and Relapse in
Schizoprenic Patients in dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Mental Hospital of Lawang | en_US |
