HUBUNGAN STATUS IMUNISASI DIFTERI DAN LINGKUNGAN FISIK RUMAH DENGAN KEJADIAN DIFTERI DI KABUPATEN SUMENEP

Abstract

Diphtheria is one of infectious disease that often happens in Indonesia, this disease can be prevented by immunization. This research discusses about relation of diphtheria immunization status and house physical environment with diphtheria in kabupaten sumenep. This research method using analytic observational by using study on case control approach. The population of this study are sufferer of the diphtheria, casesample of this research are of the population as much as 23 persons, control sample as much as 23 persons. Analysis of data using bivariat analysis with Chi-Square test with the significant level 5% (α=0,05). The research result was immunization status of diphtheria sufferers or not diphtheria sufferers most have incomplete immunization status. While on diphtheria group almost entirely house physical environment not eligible. There is a significant relation between immunization status with diphtheria case in Kabupaten Sumenep and there is significant relation between house physical environment with diphtheria case in Kabupaten Sumenep. Suggestion of this research to increased the activity of counseling to society or community about prevention of diphteria with involve comunity leaders, for the example at the time of study prayers activity, direct counseling with puskesmas or posyandu and indirect counseling with leaflet and booklet, to increased monitoring implementation of imunization on quality or immunization coverage/scope for villages that has law quality scope need to increased immunization sweeping and more increased knowledge and the role of mothers in prevention activities especially about immunization and in attempt to increased health house example keep dampness in order that balance regulate of the sun radiance with always open window everyday.
