dc.description.abstract | Distortion is the alteration of radiograph images compares to the form
of the actual object. Among other distortions caused by the placement of a film that is
not correct, an error setting the angle of the head position settings, shines or the
plains of occlusal, improvement of the object film distance (OFD), decreasing the
distance with conus as well as due condition of the jaw, teeth and oral cavity of the
patient. According to various references to the right of the vertical shines angle of the
dimention accuracy of long of maxillary canine type mesocephalic head with
bisecting technique radiography. Methods. This research is laboratory experimental
research using a sample of maxillary canine elements planted on the model of the
maxillary teeth by respondent type mesocephalic head previously done molding,
casting, and drilling on the canine, then made the manufacture of radiograph with
modification vertical angle +40o, +45o, +50o, and +55o using bisecting technique
radiography. The observed variable is the difference in the long of the description of
a radiograph of the canine at various angles and sought after corner with long teeth
in a radiograph of the most close to the long of the actual teeth. The results of
research conducted subsequent data analysis using a test one way anova test then
proseceed with LSD. Results. The results showed there was a difference in the
accuracy of dimentions long of maxillary canine using various vertical angles +45o
angle is the most excellent shines vertically to obtain the accuracy of dimention long
of maxillary canine. | en_US |
