PELAKSANAAN URAIAN TUGAS PROGRAM TUBERKULOSIS DI PUSKESMAS DALAM UPAYA PENEMUAN PENDERITA BARU TUBERKULOSIS PARU DI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

Abstract

Disease eradication program is a program that aims to eradicate infectious disease, one of them is Lung Tuberculosis. The eradication program TB in Indonesia is implemented by decentralization with the District Area as a point of management program. Banyuwangi District Area is one of district in Indonesia with the third largest pulmonary tuberculosis cases in East Java. There is job descriptions of the tuberculosis program defined tasks nationally as a reference in the implementation of the program for tackling tuberculosis. Job description as a primer task that should be performed by the principal team manager TB program at Public Health Centre. This research aims to give explanation the job description of TB program at public health centre as an effort to find the new pulmonary tuberculosis patient in Banyuwangi. This is a descriptive study with quantitative approach on 12 public health centre with respondents consist of doctors, the program managers and the clerks of laboratory. The result show that public health centre have do their job according to the job description of TB program, however on some job description not optimal yet. There is Public Health Centre that not give counseling especially for TB to the general public yet. The Finding suspects in most of Public Health Centre in the less category and still found the collecting, creating, and coloring preparations in the less category. Form TB. 05 that is no longer used in most of Public Health Centre and the contact tracing is not documented. Base of the study, public health centre have to give counseling especially for TB and create the planning of action (POA). There is needed an increasing skill of making and coloring according of the training that has been got.
