FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN TAHAPAN USIA REMAJA WANITA YANG MELAKUKAN PERKAWINAN USIA MUDA DI KECAMATAN SUKOWONO KABUPATEN JEMBER

Abstract

Early marriage is a marriage that occur at the time adolescents less than 20 years. Stages of adolescence are classified into puberty, early adolescence and late adolescence. Generally, rural communities often make early marriage. District of Sukowono have the highest rate of early marriage in 2010. Woman have the highest health risks of early marriage than men. Its because women will have a higher risk during the process of pregnancy and childbirth. Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Sukowono ranked as the third in Jember. This study is a quantitative research and used analysis of cross sectional approach. The population was all women who have early marriage in 2010 and obtained sample as many as 80 people. The data were analyzed using Spearman correlation test with 95% confidence level. The results showed that there is a relationship between knowledge and stages of adolescence respondents, with p value = 0.013. There is a relationship between the attitudes and the stage of adolescence, with p value = 0.001. There is a relationship between the level of the family economy to the stage of adolescence respondents, and p value = 0.000. There is a relationship between the role of parent and the stage of teenage respondents, with p value = 0.000. There is a relationship between socio-cultural teenage respondents to the stage of adolescent, p value = 0.000. Based on the results of the study, expected that Badan Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Keluarga Berencana (BPPKB) Sukowono especially in the District to provide counseling to the parents to cooperate with related parties. District Sukowono party can increase the level of public education sukowono, particularly women seeking free from government schools.
